#5 - 28 Years Later Movie Review

I’ve been sitting on this one for almost a week and I still can’t decide if I love it or hate it.
First of all, I love that Spike managed to shoot an arrow when it counted but damn does he linger. My impatience kicked in like a mf the whole time.
One of the things I’m fangirling about is how they pulled off the whole evolving zombies thing that The Walking Dead never had the galls to get into. I suppose I finally got what I wanted, and the fact that it came from the 28 Days franchise made it all the sweeter.
Oh, and the camera shots in the abandoned house. Oh yeah.
On a negative note, I did feel however that the trailer was misleading in a way that I thought the movie would be more creepy and ominous, which it certainly wasn’t. It hyped me up some but unfortunately let me down.
